I advise you read with faith when you do. Few teachings from the book that will urge you to read it: "Mind is the wielder of muscles. Life is what you make it

"Never belittle love, no matter where it comes from." "Life is what you make it" is a book by Preeti shenoy. I'd like to quote her when I talk about the book, "The book is not just about bipolar disorder. It is a story of courage, determination & growing up. It is also about how life can take a totally different path from what is planned, and yet how one can make a success out of it. It is a story of faith, belief and perseverance too and charting your own destiny."   How often we have heard people say that life is what you make it? Especially when it comes to talking about mind related issues, we hear so often that, it is all in the mind and that we can change our thoughts and control ourselves. How easily we blame ourselves for feeling or not feeling a certain way and consider our mind to be weak when shook by an event! It is easier to tell someone that life is what you make it   and expecting them to get a grip than to truly understand what they...

Being an entrepreneur

Don't pursue entrepreneurship for the greed of money, pursue it to set yourself free.    ~Kevin O'Leary If you want to help someone, anyone, anywhere in the world, the best thing you can do is create a job for them. Who does that? Entrepreneurs I haven't cracked the secret of being a successful entrepreneur. I am bringing to you worldly wisdom of few successful entrepreneurs that will inspire and guide action. First to be an entrepreneur, if you are looking for investment, the most important task becomes pitching your idea and yourself in a way that is a winner. Kevin O' Leary wants you to remember three things more than anything else about pitching your idea : 1. You have to be able to articulate the opportunity in 90 seconds or less. It turns out in life, if you can explain where you are going, nobody will wanna follow you. 2. What is it about you tied to this idea that can turn it into a real opportunity? Great ideas are like diamond, dozens available but execution s...

Manifestation : Episode One

"I believe the universe wants to be noticed. I think the universe is improbably biased toward consciousness, that it rewards intelligence in part because the universe enjoys its elegance being observed." - John Green(In T he Fault in our stars ) For starters, In spiritual terms, manifestation means bringing your thoughts into reality. Its like paving way for something to appear. Spiritual people believe they can manifest their goals  by using their thoughts and energy. They believe majority of things that are happening to us right now have been manifested by us into our lives. We have brought them into our life. Till now, it happened unconsciously. Wouldn't it be nice to consciously manifest things, people and energy into your life? I am a believer. I believe in the power of manifestation. I believe that I am a part of something big and that the universe listens. I believe in the existence of a power bigger than us. And how could I not? I have successfully manifested many...

Techniques to ease your worry

" Our life is what our thoughts make it ",Marcus Aurelius summed in eight words. Norman Vincent Peale shared a deep truth when he said." You are not what you think you are; but what you think, you are ." Life is too short to be little. Often we allow ourselves to be upset by small things we should despise and forget. Here we are on this earth, with only a few decades to live, and we lose many irreplaceable hours brooding over grievances that, in a year's time, will be forgotten by us and everybody. Now let us devote our life to worth-while actions and feelings, to great thoughts, real affections and enduring undertakings. For life is too short to be little. First technique to deal with worry is the magic formula of Welis H. Carrier a) Ask yourself what is the worst thing that can possibly happen if I can't solve my problem? b) Prepare yourself mentally to accept the worst - if necessary. Accepting the worst allows your mind to think clearly. c) Calmly try t...

Unwinding 'The Untethered soul' 02

Did you remind yourself to filter through your thoughts? Did you keep reminding yourself that you are not the voice inside your head? Find a quick recap of the first chapter of the book , here . Second chapter titled 'your inner roommate' He talks about the voice inside the head at length. The voice inside the head is similar to having a roommate in your head. When we are disturbed by a problem, instead of asking, " What should I do about it?" , we should ask, "What part of me is being disturbed by this?" This causes you to look inside and see that there's a part of you having problem with this and separates you  from the disturbance. This act of maintaining objective awareness of the inner problem is better than losing ourselves in the outer situation. Nobody has ever truly become okay by changing things outside. There's always the next problem. The only real solution is to take the seat of consciousness and we do this by separating ourselves from t...
