Being an entrepreneur

Don't pursue entrepreneurship for the greed of money, pursue it to set yourself free.    ~Kevin O'Leary
If you want to help someone, anyone, anywhere in the world, the best thing you can do is create a job for them. Who does that? Entrepreneurs

I haven't cracked the secret of being a successful entrepreneur.
I am bringing to you worldly wisdom of few successful entrepreneurs that will inspire and guide action.

First to be an entrepreneur, if you are looking for investment, the most important task becomes pitching your idea and yourself in a way that is a winner.
Kevin O' Leary wants you to remember three things more than anything else about pitching your idea :
1. You have to be able to articulate the opportunity in 90 seconds or less. It turns out in life, if you can explain where you are going, nobody will wanna follow you.
2. What is it about you tied to this idea that can turn it into a real opportunity? Great ideas are like diamond, dozens available but execution skills are hard to find. He would invest in an entrepreneur who has felt the sting of failure and is motivated by the fear of failing again. What is it about you that makes you the right person for executing this idea?
3.You must know your numbers. How big is the market? How fast is it growing? What are the gross margins? what is the break-even?
If you do these three right, they will serve you well.

Create goals that you can actually achieve. If you have to, sandbag your goals sometime.
And watch the culture of your organization. If you are achieving your target moor often, staff turnover is less, the culture becomes stickier.

Here's what Sara Blakely has to say,
What you don't know can be your greatest asset if you have the courage to let it be.
Believe that maybe you are the one that knows. Don't beat yourself up and do things differently.
We have heard this before. just reiterating, sell the problem that your product will solve.
From a very young age, she believed in the power of believing, manifestation, putting out there to the universe. She grew up visualizing!

Love what you do so much that you feel you are doing a disservice to the world if you can't get people to say yes to you.
If you love what you are doing, you have to learn to persuade and market.
The world is so hungry for authenticity and transparency that they want the real you. They don't want the polished you or the better version of you. They want you right now just as you are, the best version of yourself and not someone else. Stop waiting for the perfect time, perfect presentation, perfect product, go out there!
Two biggest words , two words very important in business and sales:
ENTHUSIASM
AUTHENTICITY
These are his secrets to success.
People will buy from you, respect you, learn from you when they feel understood, not when they understand you.
During sales, the best thing you can do is enter the conversation already going on in the mind of the prospect.
Don't just learn to sell but love to sell.
